About the Role:

We are looking for a client-focused Event Account Manager to manage event projects from brief to execution. This role acts as the key link between clients, internal teams, and the operations team to ensure clear communication, smooth timelines, and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple client accounts, lead project timelines and proposals, and work closely with the operations team on event execution and logistics.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Client Management & Strategic Servicing:
    - Act as the key point of contact for clients throughout the planning, creative, and execution process.
    - Understand client goals, translate them into actionable event briefs, and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
    - Present, refine, and follow up on creative proposals based on client feedback while maintaining strong client relationships.
    - Handle post-event follow-ups and maintain ongoing rapport with key clients.

  • Event Project Leadership:
    - Lead and work closely with the operations team to manage end-to-end execution of events, including corporate events, conferences, seminars, activations, exhibitions, fairs, forums, brand launches, and other event-related projects.
    - Oversee production timelines, budgets, deliverables, documentation, and team coordination to ensure smooth project delivery.
    - Support and guide the development of creative decks, pitches, proposals, event flows, and project planning materials.
    - Troubleshoot on-site issues and ensure smooth event operations during setup, rehearsals, event day, and teardown.

  • Event Operations & Coordination:
    - Support all event-related requirements, including but not limited to logistics, registration systems/EventQR, exhibitor coordination, vendor liaison, floor management, manpower planning, permits, and on-ground arrangements.
    - Coordinate with vendors, venues, suppliers, government bodies, non-government bodies, and other stakeholders where required.
    - Work closely with the event operations team, who will handle vendor sourcing such as AV, lighting, décor, fabrication, printing, and other production needs.
    - Ensure each event is executed professionally, smoothly, and in line with the agreed requirements.

  • Internal Coordination:
    - Work closely with internal teams including designers, 3D visualisers, video/content producers, and project teams to align deliverables with the creative direction.
    - Maintain proper documentation for each project and ensure all timelines, updates, and requirements are clearly communicated.
    - Work on other event-related, activation-related, or agency projects as required.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in event/project management, agency work, or client servicing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills are a must, especially in fast-turnaround situations.
  • Ability to continuously bring fresh, innovative ideas to elevate event experiences.
  • Skilled in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be passionate about creating memorable and engaging event experiences.
  • Able to travel and work outside regular hours based on event schedules (evenings/weekends).
  • Possess own transport and physical stamina for on-site coordination.
  • Languages: Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (for liaison purposes).
  • Willing to work under pressure, accept new challenges, and adapt quickly.
