Video Production Manager

We are in search of a Video Production Manager to join our video production team. You will be responsible for editing photos and producing videos from raw footages for external and internal purposes.

You will play an important role in the company’s success as videos are the best way of communicating the company’s and clients message on online platforms. You will be working directly with the producer and director. Hence, you should have an outstanding experience in editing and production.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, develop, plan, and oversee video projects from start to finish

  • Fully understand the client’s objectives and project goals and articulate them clearly

  • Monitor all technical aspects of video production, including shooting, recording and editing

  • Monitor the day-to-day activities of the video team members and ensure work is progressing as planned

  • Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are communicated, understood, and executed upon

  • Manage resource assignments for the project, and proactively identify resource challenges

  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance

  • Consistently identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs

  • Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback

  • Communicate and document video project status to clients, team members, and management regularly; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels

  • Recap and create debriefs for every completed project; facilitate discussions on lessons learned and new knowledge gained; document properly and share

  • Prepare project documents such as SLAs, NDAs, execution plans, etc.

  • Discover and implement new video techniques and methods to maximize the company’s efficiency

  • Manage to work both on-site as well as off-site locations

  • Oversee equipment inventory management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from production to post-production process

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and production partners

  • Oversee and work effectively with the team members

     

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Director, Producer, Video Editor, Video Specialist, Event Production, or similar role in Media Industry
  • A complete portfolio depicting the works undertaken so far
  • Solid experience of using video editing software like Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve or other software
  • Technical knowledge of camera, lighting, streaming, event equipment
  • Experience managing or leading a team
  • Creative thinker and excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work both on and off-site and pull off long hours if production isnt completed
  • Able to work with a team
